Duties and Responsibilities:

• Specifically trained to treat most complex and high risk situations
• Care of infants
• Diagnose and treat new-borns
• Assist in delivering babies

Salary:

• $145,000-$190,000 per year

Education:

• 4 years of medical school
• 3 years of residency training in pediatrics
• 3 years of additional training in new born intensive care

Reflection:

I would not like to be a Neonatologist because I find it really hard and painful to see babies suffer and I wouldn't want to be one of those people who is there to see those babies suffer.
